MusicPlus Performance Program

网爆门事件 offers an extensive co-curricular MusicPlus Performance Program that gives students the opportunity to participate in enjoyable, motivating musical experiences as part of a choir, band or ensemble. All students are invited to participate and there are no associated fees. 

If your child wishes to join one or more of our bands, ensembles or choirs, please complete our online application form below. Please note: some ensembles may have audition or entry requirements, the ensemble director will contact you if this is the case.

Please select the choirs, ensembles and bands you would like to join
All 网爆门事件 choirs, ensembles and bands work towards the highest performance standards, at the same time as providing parts that cater for a wide range of skill levels. Selected groups may be invited to perform at College soirees, assemblies, our Annual Bands Night and other school and community events. Attendance at the annual four-day Music Camp and at our Spring Concert is an expectation for most groups. Some ensembles will be invited to participate in a smaller two-day program. Students must commit to learning their parts outside of rehearsal time. Once an application has been approved, your child will be considered an ongoing member of the ensemble for the year. Where a student seems consistently unprepared at rehearsals - through lack of practice, inconsistent attendance or failure to bring the required materials - they may be given a one-term probation in which to demonstrate an improved commitment level. Failure to do so may result in a loss of their place in the group. Advice of withdrawal from a choir/ensemble/band must be made in writing to music@newhavencol.vic.edu.au.
